Large Paisley pewter Quaich bowl, the paisley pattern comes from the town of Paisley, in West Scotland, a centre for textiles. In the 1800s the town became known for its woven Kashmir shawls with their distinctive paisley designs, the large quaich is embossed beautifully with the pattern and it also has distinctive paisley handles, supplied in a lid and base box and “the Quaich” story card included. Can be engraved on the outside of the quaich only.
